The host and Executive Producer of This is Today is Russ Catanach. As host, he talks about the historical and nostalgic events of each day.

Russ has a background in radio broadcasting, having worked for various San Francisco radio stations, including K-101 (now Star 101.3) and Alice@97.3. Russ has also performed improv and stand-up comedy.

In addition to hosting This is Today, he is a marketing professional and consultant for local businesses.
